While known as the Primordial Longu, this creature is actually believed to be the ancestor of both the Longuxenosoid and Falxangius species, with evolution having branched off after the land connection between Eudoria and Amathera was severed. The Primordial Longu was brought back to life through advanced cloning techniques conducted in an illegal laboratory, since shut down. However, several specimens somehow managed to escape and have been evading Imperial Zoological Scouts long enough to establish themselves in surrounding areas.
The mouth of the Primordial Longu is more similar to that of the Falxangius, lacking the distinct beak of the Longu. However, unlike the herbivorous Falx, it is an omnivore that will happily feast on meats and fish if given the opportunity. The large defensive spikes on its back indicate that the species had larger and more dangerous predators in its past, since both later species have lost the spikes through evolution.
