To improve the design of their latest carbine, EWE contracted one of their earlier partners, Dr Macc MacMahon, the famous creator of many modified and improved versions of EP-series pistols. MacMahon designed a new power conversion system and installed it in an LC-200, allowing the weapon a higher damage capability without increasing the weight noticeably. The downside is that the new system uses more energy than the old one.
